Meeting Minutes - September 8th, 2016

The Minutes of the September 8, 2016 business meeting are as follows:

* Meeting came to order at 7:02PM.

* Pledge, moment of silence especially in rememberance of "9/11", then attendee roll call.

* It was noted that we did not have monthly business meetings in July and August due to the extremely hot temperatures.

* The Treasurer's report on the account balance was $2931.05 after expenses. Report approved by Tom KD9BVC and Charlie N1CRR.

* Previous meeting minutes approved as posted by Tom KD9BVC and Rickie KC2VXI.

* Our Blue Claws outing in August was a great success and it was agreed by all to do it again next summer.

* Our JSARS Holiday Party will be on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Riverwood Park.

* It was agreed that at our January 2017 business meeting we will select dates for both our Spring and Fall 2017 Hamfests.

* Rickie KC2VXI presented the August JSARS ARRL Traffic Net summary:

* Three new JSARS members voted in:

  Troy WB2FNG, Toms River
  Chris K2HVE, Bayville
  Drake KD2HTZ, Old Bridge (and thank you for your donation to the club)

* Meeting adjourned at 7:15PM, approved by Tom KD9BVC and Jerry KD2JGH.
