Business Meeting 14 June 2018
Meeting was called to order at 19:00 EDT. The Pledge of Allegiance was said, followed by a moment of silence and roll call.
Brian, WA2FAX, read the minutes of the May meeting, approved by Rick, KC2VXI, and ____________.
Don, K2HCW, presented the treasurer’s report. Our account balance is $xx,xxx.32. The report was approved by Charlie, N1CRR, and Bill, KD2JBJ.
Charlie, N1CRR, presented the May JSARS ARRL Traffic Net Summary.

Annual elections for officers were conducted, and the following were elected by acclamation:

Charlie, N1CRR, and Pete, K3PMC, approved the closing of the elections.

Former Treasurer Don McGlaughlin, K2HCW, said they would be going to the bank the following Monday to change signature cards and then go to the post office.
Old Business
The club has already sold 27 tickets for the Blue Claws game.
Chris, K2HVE, reported on Field Day. Field Day will be held Saturday, June 23rd and possibly the 24th. The club hopes to operate 3 and possibly 4 stations, the latter making it class 4A. From 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday morning. the club will be setting up, and then there will be a family picnic. There will be two antennas outside, one East-West and the other North-South. One will operate on 20 meters and the other on 40 meters.
President Tom, KD9BVC, noted that JSARS is back in the ARRL’s listing of Volunteer Examiner sessions. After the VE session next week, there will be a new Technician test beginning in July. So far there is one candidate for testing on June 21st.
New Business
Steve, AC2ST, said he would donate a 20-40-80 meter dipole to the club.
Dave, N2WCO, noted that tickets were available for the Shriners’ Circus on the June 28 weekend.
Total Attendance was 24.
