  • OLD BUSINESS :  WA2FAX thoughtfulness TO DONATE HIS OLD Bar B Q to JSARS for our field day activities.(thank you Brian). KD2PGP brought up Field day right around corner and sign-up sheets available for food and refreshments if anyone cares to bring for the group. KD2PGP also thanked WB2BNB and Mrs. Ike on their hospitality of their home to help fellow club members to get the radio gear tested and ready for the weekends event. WB2BNB as per K2HVE if anyone has issues on broken or non working equipment nobody will be able to help or troubleshoot, so make sure your gear is ready and functioning. K2HV2 will coordinate day of who and what bands are and who is working them. Wear your JSARS shirts to show support of the club. Hopefully we get visitors from the radio announcements on JRZ and or The RAT radio commercials from KD2ZIW and wife that made it possible.

 

  • NEW BUSINESS: Voting nominations/ELECTIONS:
    WA2FAX NOMINATES KD2PGP FOR PRESIDENT, W2DDS 2nds the nomination. Nominations closed secretary cast one ballot for KD2PGP President.
    KD9BVC nominates NICRR for Vice President, KC2VXI 2nds nomination. Nominations closed secretary cast one ballot for N1CRR FOR VP.
    MOTION TO NOMINATE TREASURER, Nominations closed secretary cast one ballot for N2JRJ for Treasurer.
    KD9BVC nominates KD2ZIW FOR SECRETARY,     K2MD 2nds the nomination.
    Nominations closed secretary cast one ballot for KD2ZIW as secretary.
    Nominations for trustees, WA2RJP, W2DDS 2nds nomination. KD9BVC nominates KC2VXI as a trustee, WA2FAX 2nds nomination. WB2BNB nominates KD9BVC as 3rd trustee, WB2PMC 2nds nomination . Nominations closed cast one ballot for trustees as follows WA2RJP, Jim , KC2VXI, Rick, KD9BVC Tom.
    KD9BVC makes motion all nominations for Officers closed and elections are complete and final, Motion to accept nominations and votes to office, W2DDS AND WA2FAX 2nds motion of elected officers of office, all are closed, votes and nominations are final.
    More new Business:
    KC2VXI comments on repeater issues, if there are any issues or troubles with repeater contact ONLY the following WA2RJP, N1CRR or himself KC2VXI to look into repair or troubleshoot issues.
    Donation made by an individual of a Heath-kit radio and is up for sale, see KD2PGP make an offer. KB2GGD has few HT up for sale also.
    KO2SEN wanting to make a committee for a Motorcycle Poker run fund raiser, discussion was brought up to do fund raising functions to help out JSARS with financial gains. Will be discussed further and finalized cause this is a big kind of event and a lot of organizing and volunteers are needed to make it a successful event.
    AA2BD has an email contact for organized fundraiser through diners for a percentage of the days sales towards JSARS, this will be looked into also.
    KD9BVC concludes KD2PGP to do a 50/50 at all our gatherings.
