Fall Hamfest will be October 12th, 2013 at Pine Park in Lakewood on County Line Rd. There is a $75 rental fee. There is plenty of parking, a pavilion, and restrooms.

Don K2HCW has posted the hamfest on the ARRL website. There will be VE sessions, please contact WA2NDA for any information on the sessions.

Mike KD2AHG and Jim K2RJP have gotten permission for the climber to climb the water tower and put new antenna up for the 2m 146.910 repeater. The antenna was damaged during the hurricane, so a new one had to be purchased. It was purchased from Frank K2IYE (Cheap Ham) for $900.00

 

NEW BUSINESS: Tower climbing party at Indian Hill Water Tower Saturday September 21, 2013. Climber, Rick, normally charges $5,000 to $7,000. JSARS is only being charged $1,000. Party will start at 8am and Volunteers needed. Please wear a hard hat. Rain date will be Sunday September 22^nd.

 

It was asked if the 220 repeater could be put at Lakehurst instead of the water tower on RT 70. That would require a larger cabinet and antenna which would not fit into the elevator in Hangar 1. Also, we can only access the Hangar during the week, which is hard due to work.

 

Delaware Valley Radio Club is having a Hamfest Saturday September 14^th
